There is something magical about a water lily. I created this pastel painting from photographs I took off of our dock on the Mississippi River. Before working with soft pastels, I textured the surface with gesso and then gave it a colored acrylic wash. This gave the finished painting a more impressionistic look. Scroll down to view prices.
